My Background and Approach
Are you having difficulty with relationships or your career? School anxiety? Are you struggling with a sense of general unhappiness? Change is possible! Sometimes, we all get a little lost. Depending on the season of life you are in, you maybe experiencing more stress than usual, and need a support system. That is where I come into the picture. I have been a licensed mental health provider for over 15 years and am able to effectively help people with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, women's issues, and career concerns. I am trained to use DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) in both group and individual sessions. We will talk about your history, story, and where you come from...what experiences shaped you (they all do), and how the narrative we tell ourselves may not always be the most helpful one. I like to empower clients to consider their strengths and all the ways they could think or be different, the way they most prefer to be.
