About My Clients
So you've had a baby recently. And it's not at all what you thought it would be. The isolation during Covid-19 has made it impossible for your partner to attend most prenatal appointments and now that your baby is finally here the isolation continues. You can't have family and friends come by to visit like you had always imagined and so you are stuck at home, 24/7, taking care of a new born. You are feeling depressed, worried, and disappointed.
My Background and Approach
I have received extensive training in supporting new mothers through Postpartum International (an International Non-Profit that provides mental health services to new parents). I also have a daughter of my own who was born in the midst of the pandemic so I have first hand experience of the isolation new parents face these days. I use a gentle and warm approach to therapy recognizing that each parent is unique. I will never tell you what to do but instead give you options of what you could do and support you in deciding which option is best for you and your lifestyle.
