About My Clients
Are you tired of being tired? Let's get unstuck and out of autopilot. Life can be exhausting but more so when prior trauma impacts our daily lives. I work with adults looking to heal from past trauma and move forward with positive changes. This includes positive changes within self, relationships, and/or jobs and school. I recognize each person as an individual with their own strengths and needs and tailor our approach towards healing based on the individual.
My Background and Approach
My 8 years of experience focuses on various forms of trauma; primarily but not limited to- victims of dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, parental abuse/neglect, and family dysfunction. With trauma comes physiological responses such as depression and anxiety. I assist my clients within a holistic model to manage and/or alleviate symptoms. I recognize each person as an individual with their own strengths and needs and tailor our approach towards healing based on the individual. I am trained in EMDR and use this treatment when preferred to heal trauma affects.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is unique and has a purpose for their life. I use a social justice framework and acknowledge the connection between mind, body, and soul.
