Anxiety, increasingly common today, can wreak havoc when unmanaged, like a 2 year old with scissors, anxiety creates chaos in our minds. If left untreated, it can manifest as depression, stress, fear, conflict avoidance, chronic illness, even addiction. The positive news is that anxiety, in all its forms, is highly treatable. Effective therapy can transform this overwhelming force into a manageable aspect of life, leading to greatly improved well-being.

In treating modern relationship issues, I focus on communication, trust, and adapting to changing dynamics. Today's relationships face unique challenges and complexities, work-life balance, and evolving social norms. My approach involves helping couples and individuals navigate these challenges by fostering open communication, rebuilding trust, and developing strategies to adapt to contemporary relationship dynamics.

Relational work allows partners to examine their own roles and how they contribute to problems in the relationship. With direct and empathic guidance, a safe environment is created that allows us to get to the root cause of the relational problems. In this work, we will identify triggers, pain points, roles, and dynamics. To help resolve conflict, we create greater awareness of unconscious or unspoken assumptions and explore differing expectations, communication styles, and behavior.

Relationships can be the most beautiful experience. They can also be difficult and bring tremendous conflict and pain. Poor communication, unspoken conflicts, past pain, old traumas, these get in the way. Close bonds are fractured when the foundations of trust are weakened. This often presents in avoidance or escalated fights. Relational work allows partners to start to resolve serious issues, restore trust, and get the relationship back to healthy connectivity.
