About My Clients
Tending to your inner experience can be vulnerable, challenging, and one of the most rewarding investments made towards the enhancement of your relationships, health, and overall wellbeing. I facilitate an insight-oriented, psycho-spiritual therapeutic process based on the notion that : Life is all about learning and growing. While we can't control what happens, we can practice utilizing our life experiences as opportunities for self-discovery and personal transformation.
My Background and Approach
My formal education includes a BA in Music Composition and an MA in Clinical Psychology with a special focus in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. In addition, I have been a curriculum developer for mindfulness and emotional intelligence-based learning and have worked in both non-profit and private practice settings. My practice marries research from the field of interpersonal neurobiology with integrative and psychospiritual approaches to the treatment of trauma, relational and systemic issues, and existential pain. Formerly a yoga teacher and long-time student of self-inquiry and contemplation practices, my approach is bio-psycho-spiritual and includes both education and mindfulness based interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are here to learn and to grow, that the nature of the universe is friendly, and that there is space for everything that happens within and around you. I believe that self-awareness is the doorway to personal transformation and that this is most successfully cultivated through curiosity, a willingness to not-know, and a welcoming stance towards everything that shows up in your life.
