About My Clients
I value working with those who are navigating pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, fertility treatments (related to infertility, genetic reasons, egg freezing, third party reproduction), and traumatic birth. I also enjoy working with clients who are experiencing generalized anxiety and those who are coping with illnesses or life transitions. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered as you navigate whatever brings you to therapy.
My Background and Approach
I hope to support you with empathy while you may be carrying more than most people can see. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and compassion and mindfulness-based practices in order to craft a space that helps to meet your needs. I often help folks to change unhelpful patterns where possible and build acceptance and flexibility where change isn't helpful—so they can live in a way that aligns with their values. Each person and their journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to fit that uniqueness. It’s important to me to find an approach that resonates with you. Throughout my training and career, I have worked as a therapist in OB/GYN clinics, infectious disease clinics, private practices, VA medical centers, and community mental health centers. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship in reproductive psychology. I combine this professional experience with genuine care to meet you exactly where you are.
