About My Clients
I work with adults living with complex trauma, chronic stress, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, dissociation, and other mood disorders. My clinical approach integrates trauma-informed care, DBT, and neurobiological frameworks to support nervous system regulation and sustainable change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with nearly 12 years of clinical experience working with adults facing complex mental health concerns. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), neurobiological frameworks, a neurocultural lens, and skills-based interventions to support emotional regulation, stability, and meaningful change. I specialize in working with individuals impacted by trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, dissociation, and identity-related stressors. My approach emphasizes careful pacing, strong case conceptualization, and attention to nervous system responses, helping clients build insight while developing practical tools they can use in daily life. I value collaboration, clarity, and ethical practice, and I tailor treatment to each client’s needs, strengths, and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Most people make sense once you understand what they’ve been dealing with. Struggling doesn’t mean someone is weak or broken. It usually means they’ve been under stress, navigating trauma, or trying to survive in situations that asked too much for too long and lacked access to resources and support needed for stability. Building insight helps, but it isn’t enough on its own. Real change also requires practical tools and practice. Skills-based approaches like DBT, when modified to reflect unique cultural and neurodivergent needs, help people regulate emotions, tolerate distress, communicate more clearly, and make better choices under stress. Therapy is a collaborative process, and progress depends on active participation and taking ownership of our choices. Accountability isn't about blame, it's about using agency intentionally and reclaiming your power. My goal is to get you to a place where you no longer need my support.
