About My Clients
Trying to describe my "typical" clients can be a bit tricky! I work with people across the lifespan, which includes play therapy for my youngest clients, various treatment modalities for adolescents and adults, and family therapy to bring multiple people together.
My Background and Approach
I have earned both my master’s degree and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. While there, I specialized in Family Therapy. I have also worked as an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology teaching graduate level courses.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all clients deserve high quality, informed care regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. For those reasons, I have educated myself to be a competent therapist working with these individuals. I am passionate about equality for all and treating individuals with respect. My volunteer work includes various positions working with schools, such as a School Family Community Partnership Committee, as well as volunteering for a homeless shelter by bringing food deliveries each month.
