My Background and Approach
I have always wanted to help people. Having had therapists and coaches along my life has helped me experience a richer life and I want to do the same for others. My approach to therapy is that it can help us get to know ourselves in a deeper way, confront and resolve difficult things in our past and develop resiliency for the future. My style of therapy includes cognitive-behavioral, strength-based, solution-focused, integrative mental health, and as well as taking an eclectic approach as needed. I am available to help anyone wanting to get more out of life as well as individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, and those wanting to learn more about mind/body connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a lifelong commitment to learning and have pursued further specialized training in trauma therapy, health coaching, as well as mind-body applications in counseling. I have worked with adult individuals in community mental health to help them overcome depression, anxiety, and trauma. They set the goals and I provide coaching, tools, and guidance as needed.
