We all have challenges that hold us back and keep us from feeling the way we want and from living our best life. Maybe you have been disappointed, experienced loss, trauma, or rejection. Maybe you have struggled with anxiety, OCD, isolation, or low self-esteem. Maybe you are going through a difficult transition. I offer a blend of tools to help you to begin to feel better. We can work together to forge a path toward a happier life.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in a variety of mental health centers from emergency rooms, psychiatric hospitals, substance abuse facilities, clinics, and private practice. I bring solid experience and research-based strategies to my work. I believe in working with each person in a way that is individualized for them and honors the way they feel and think. I strive to make everyone feel comfortable, safe and supported in our sessions. I am a cognitive behavioral therapist, but implement many other techniques during sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Over the past 20+ years, I have had the honor to help many people make positive changes in their lives. What I have learned is that everyone is unique and that the key is understanding yourself and how your history and ways of interacting with the world impacts you from getting what you desire.
I work with adults, couples, and young adults. Everyone needs help at some time in their life. Contact me and let's talk about how I can help you.
