My Background and Approach
My areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, depression, and life stressors. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens and integrate evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy interventions and Level One Theraplay & MIM (for family therapy sessions) As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish, ensuring that language and culture are respected as integral parts of the healing process. Above all, my goal is to foster growth, resilience, and self-compassion—walking alongside each client as they create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know what it’s like to carry the weight of stories that aren’t always easy to share, feelings of anxiety, sadness, or the echoes of past experiences that shape how we move through the world. As an immigrant from Mexico, I understand the complexities of navigating between cultures, generations, and expectations while trying to stay connected to who you are. These experiences have shaped my passion for supporting immigrant, multigenerational, and BIPOC individuals and families as they heal, grow, and find their voice.
