About My Clients
My ideal client is a child, adolescent, adult, or family who is navigating emotional, behavioral, or relational challenges and is seeking practical support and meaningful change. They may be experiencing the impact of trauma, chronic stress, parenting difficulties, or system involvement such as juvenile court or child welfare services. My ideal client may feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure of where to begin, yet is open to collaboration and growth when met with empathy and structure.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and goals. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and understood, so I prioritize building a strong, trusting relationship as the foundation for meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all individuals deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Diversity in identity and lived experience is a natural and valuable part of the human experience. As a therapist, I am committed to providing an inclusive, nonjudgmental, and affirming space where my clients can explore their experiences, challenges, and strengths without fear of discrimination or bias. I recognize the impact that societal stigma, marginalization, and minority stress can have on mental health, and I strive to approach each client with cultural humility, openness, and ongoing self-reflection.
