About My Clients

I work with people who are rebuilding after hard families, after realizing you've been living for everyone else, or finally admitting the life you built doesn't fit who you actually are. My clients include LGBTQ+ folks navigating identity and family rejection, people exploring Jewish identity in a politically charged world, highly sensitive and neurodivergent folks, and anyone caught between cultures. If you're an outsider, a late bloomer, or someone finding your voice, this is for you.

My Background and Approach

I've been a therapist since 2016, working with people navigating identity, hard transitions, and difficult families. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). My music therapy training shapes how I listen—I'm tuned into nuance, emotion, and what's underneath. My approach is grounded, warm, and relational. We slow things down, notice what's under the anxiety or stuck patterns, and go at a pace that feels right for your nervous system. Many of my clients have spent years trying to fit into boxes that were never built for them—family expectations, cultural norms, or the sense that who they are is "too much" or "not enough." We can talk about what usually feels off-limits: queerness, Jewish identity, family wounds, grief, and the parts that don't fit the script. The goal is to help you feel more at home in your own life—to build a sturdier sense of who you are and stop performing. I'm client-centered and pull from ACT, mindfulness, and CBT.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm a queer-affirming, Jewish therapist who cares a lot about justice, nuance, and people who don't fit neat boxes. I believe therapy should be a place where you can talk honestly about politics, culture, and the world we're living in—especially when those things are tied to your safety or sense of belonging. Outside of sessions, I'm a music therapist who thinks a lot about how art, play, and expression help us move feelings. I spent years doing improv comedy and bring that sensibility—curiosity, playfulness, and thinking on your feet—into how I work when it feels supportive. I care about destigmatizing therapy and making it accessible to people who don't fit the traditional mold. I live in Costa Rica now and am happiest underwater diving or hanging out with my two cats. I value warmth, humor when it fits, and holding space for complexity. You don't have to feel polished or "together" to show up here—you just have to be willing to do the real work.
