About My Clients

Do you intellectualize your feelings away and need support finding your way to embodiment? Do you want to find your authentic voice but aren't sure how to start? "Where words fail, music speaks" Music therapy and creative arts techniques can be the bridge you need to connect your present emotional landscape with the path you want to pave forward. I look forward to partnering with you to use music as an intentional tool to create the life YOU want.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master's in Music Therapy with endorsement in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Slippery Rock University and have been practicing as a music therapist since 2021. My clinical experiences have ranged from supporting neurodivergent youth, individuals in acute psychiatry and families navigating medical crisis. I employ a humanistic-existential and feminist approach in my work, and I strive to embody my core values of justice, curiosity, and openness. Singing and songwriting played pivotal roles in my own mental health journey as a teen, and the healing I have experienced in creative contexts fuels my passion to support others through evidence-based artistic means.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe a great deal of current mental illness develops in response to oppressive systems, and the ethical responsibility of the therapist does not cease when she leaves the confines of the therapy room. As such, I am an active member of my local Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Committee and often support the efforts of public arts initiatives. In my free time, I enjoy snuggling up with a good book, surrounded by my partner and our two unruly kitties.
