About My Clients
My goal is to maintain self-awareness throughout my journey as a therapist and to hold myself accountable for keeping aware of different backgrounds and acknowledging the importance of profoundly respecting those with different lifestyles, cultures, and religions other than my own. I view differences and the unknown as an excellent learning opportunities for both parties involved.
My Background and Approach
My scope of practice surrounds lifestyle/career/guidance counseling. I also emphasize integrated wellness practices and enjoy providing these in my treatment plans when clients express interest or seek progressive and unique healing tools. I base my theoretical orientation on existential and person-centered therapy. My counseling demeanor involves creating an environment where my clients feel safe, loved, and comforted, no matter their background or past. My goal as a therapist is to create a tranquil space for my clients where they feel secure opening up about who they are and what they want to accomplish when ready to do so.
