About My Clients
I have experience working in community mental health and school settings with folks who have experienced a range of issues, including complex trauma, relationship issues, mood disorders, grief and loss, acculturation, & significant life transitions.
My Background and Approach
As a an attachment therapist, I help people explore relational patterns and underlying attachment needs in order build stronger relationships with others, considering the impact of cultural and environmental factors. Empathy, curiosity, and a belief in the power of relationships to bring about growth and new possibilities are essential to my work. My therapeutic style is warm, inviting, empowering, and strengths-based. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where I can accompany clients as they gain a deeper understanding of themselves, explore the places where they feel stuck, rediscover their authentic selves, and develop new skills & perspectives to flourish. Drawing from various evidence-based approaches such as EFT, I also use body-based and mindfulness practices to help clients make sense of their experiences and to ultimately gain the tools they need to build lives that they feel are worth living.
