About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples who often describe themselves as 'stuck' among their struggles with managing stress, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, and maternal mental health issues. Being a mother myself, I especially enjoy honoring the joys, challenges, and ambivalence that comes with parenting/caretaking. If you seek a bit more balance & compassion in your mind, body, or relationships - I hope we might connect soon!
My Background and Approach
In addition to Family Systems theories, I have training in the Gottman method, Brainspotting, & Sexual Abuse counseling. I am certified as a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga-Facilitator (TCTSY-F), and also certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. Mindfulness & Reiki are offered in sessions, as clients desire. I believe the integration of holistic modalities, and joining others in our wellness journeys best supports the complexity of who we are as Humans.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Trained systemically, I find it crucial to explore the intersections of your experienced challenges across societal, familial, cultural, & political constructs — particularly the systems under which you may have been oppressed or marginalized. Life's unpredictability is the one certainty. This might seem ironic, and yet you don't have to travel it alone. I believe we thrive in community, including along the paths of our psychological and physiological wellbeing.
