About My Clients
Maybe you've been told you're "too self-aware" for therapy. You understand your patterns inside and out, but that insight hasn't turned into lasting change in your life or your relationships. Maybe you carry pain that stretches back further than your own history, through your family, your culture, or the communities you belong to. Or maybe a faith tradition that once gave you belonging now leaves you with shame, confusion, or grief.
My Background and Approach
You deserve a space where you're allowed to be messy. It should be a place to set down ways of coping that no longer serve you, imagine new possibilities, and take real steps toward them. I see therapy as relational and creative work. Together, we'll explore what a purposeful, authentic life looks like for you. Through an integrative psychodynamic lens, we'll explore how your inner world, including your history, relationships, and beliefs about yourself, shapes what you experience today. As trust builds, I'll gently challenge the idea that you need to be "fixed" and help you notice the ways you're already whole. Trauma often keeps us stuck in our heads, running the same thought loops and searching for an exit ramp that never appears. Experiential approaches offer another way in, helping you get out of your head and into your present experience.
