My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is built on my years of work as a clinical therapist as well as my experience as a yoga instructor, social worker, and former high school teacher. I obtained my LMSW from the Univeristy of Maryland. My therapeutic style utilizes a CBT and Mindfulness based approach to help individuals feel calm, empowered, and grounded. This is acheived through cognitive reframing, mindfulness, and yoga practice. Together we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to connect your mind and body.
