About My Clients
You might feel overwhelmed by change, unsure of who you are, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe relationships feel confusing, or past experiences still weigh heavily. You want to feel more confident, connected, and at ease in your life. My clients are often navigating identity, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, or self-esteem struggles - and looking for a space to sort through it all.
My Background and Approach
I have experience supporting teens, young adults, and adults through life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and the impacts of trauma, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I use a trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative approach to help clients reconnect with themselves and what matters most. My work is LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent-affirming, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and truly understood. I draw from EMDR to support healing from painful experiences and negative self-beliefs, Internal Family Systems to care for the different “parts” of you, Emotionally Focused Therapy to deepen emotional insight, ACT to move toward what matters- even in hard moments -and attachment-based therapy to explore the roots of how you connect with others. My dog, Stevie, can join us in sessions and can be a calming presence or take part in intentional animal-assisted interventions. Therapy is always tailored to you—your pace, your needs, your story.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is deeply connected to the world we live in - our identities, our histories, and the systems around us all shape our mental health. I view therapy as inherently political and rooted in justice. I’m a strong supporter of LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, disability rights, and equity for all. These values guide how I show up as a therapist: by creating a space that honors your full identity, experiences, and culture. I tailor therapy to support who you are and what you need - not just clinically, but as a whole person navigating a complex world. Outside the therapy room, I stay engaged in causes that matter to me by attending rallies, protests, and community events. I believe in collective care and change, and I bring that energy into the therapy space by holding both compassion and a deep respect for the resilience you carry.
