About My Clients
It is often difficult to put words to what feels off. Sometimes there's pain or discomfort, and sometimes there's confusion or hopelessness knowing what to do about a specific aspect of your life, like a relationship, your faith, or your career. You may be used to feeling this way but it doesn't mean you don't want things to change. I can help you understand yourself and walk with you in the process of healing.
My Background and Approach
I earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology and have been working as a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice since 2018. My therapeutic approach is primarily informed by psychodynamic/psychoanalytic thought and I specialize in working with young adults (20's and 30's) on relational and emotional issues. Many people I work with struggle with issues related to depression, anxiety, transition, complex trauma, spirituality, and identity. I care about creating a safe and collaborative relationship where we can focus on deep and long-lasting change. I also provide psychological assessment for adults, which includes ADHD testing for college students and therapeutic recommendations for other clinicians. My testing is informed by years of experience in college counseling centers and specified training in neuropsychology, personality assessment, and projective methods.
