About My Clients
I have a diverse background in educational, non-profit, and private practice therapy settings. I work best with teens, young adults, and women of all ages to find ways to be happier and function more adequately in life. Life is tough sometimes, and we can all use support at one point or another. I specialize in processing trauma through EMDR, and provide clients with tangible, takeaway skills to help people with anxiety, depression, phase of life struggles, relationships, and identity issues.
My Background and Approach
I have a passion for joining side by side with my clients, guiding them in their journey to heal from their traumas and have improved, more fulfilling relationships. I am trained in EMDR (eye motor desensitization and reprocessing) and pursue ongoing consultation and training as I work towards becoming an advanced certified EMDR therapist. I have witnessed firsthand the transformational effects of EMDR with my clients, helping them heal from PTSD, anxiety, difficult family relationships, break ups, abuse, assault, and so much more. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and use this modality to give clients tangible coping skills so they feel better equipped to handle the ups and downs of life. I value creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where my clients feel safe enough to talk about the deepest parts of themselves.
