About My Clients
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including Major Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Issues, Parenting Problems, Career Challenges, and Disability issues. I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families who have induced PTSD, Panic Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Bi-Polar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Schizoaffective Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Stress Management and Substance Abuse Disorders from trauma, and insomnia.
My Background and Approach
Prior to this, I worked as a Mental Health Case Management Supervisor for over 10 years. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) with 7 years of counseling experience, 25 years of experience as a Qualified Mental Health professional, and 10 years of Mental Health supervisory experience. He has a vast variety of expertise including providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Career Counseling to clients who suffer from trauma and insomnia. He can help link you to beneficial and reliable resources in your local community according to your needs, provide useful and effective Cognitive Behavioral Therapy worksheets to help one practice their CBT skills, and can recommend/help in finding group counseling services based on your needs.

My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and solution focused therapy. I will tailor our discussion and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, and compassion. I let clients explain their situation and then guide them to develop their goals. I create an environment where clients feel comfortable to share their issues and concerns. It takes courage to seek assistance with facing personal issues and taking the first steps towards making a change. I come with open ears and an empathetic heart to listen to your stories and understand from an outside point of view of what may be challenging your life and how to rebuild it.
