Clients that benefit the most are motivated and tired of doing things the way they have always done them in the past. Clients that are ready try something else do their best to: incorporate daily self care, add time for reflection into their schedules, utilize or create support around them and allow me to bring expertise, unconditional positive regard and accountability to their lives. My Clients feel a greater sense of understanding of themselves and the world around and report empowerment.
My Background and Approach
I have found success in utilizing a well-rounded approach to therapy that is not only collaborative but holistic (biopsychosocial). I truly believe that every individual deserves the chance to live a well-balanced physical, spiritual, emotional life. The last 18 years of my life have been spent learning and serving within the field of Psychology and Education. I have spent the last 7 years as a professional working in various settings including Crisis Intervention, Substance Abuse, and with Individuals as well as Groups in therapy.
