About My Clients
I work with adults, couples, teens, and veterans seeking growth, healing, and balance. Many of my clients are navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, relationship strain, or major life transitions. I offer a safe and compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move toward lasting emotional wellness and connection.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am EMDR-certified, Advanced Grief-Certified, and Level 2 Gottman-trained in couples therapy. My approach combines evidence-based methods—EMDR, CBT, and experiential techniques—with a warm, person-centered style. I also offer Animal-Assisted Therapy with my therapy dog, Koda, to support children and clients who benefit from emotional grounding and comfort. For military members and veterans, I provide trauma-informed care that honors your experiences and fosters healing, resilience, and renewed purpose. Whether addressing anxiety, trauma, grief, or relational challenges, I help clients reconnect to their inner strength and create meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with being truly heard and supported. My practice integrates mind, body, and spirit—drawing from yoga, meditation, and mindfulness to promote holistic well-being. I value authenticity, compassion, and empowerment, meeting each person with empathy and respect for their story. Outside of counseling, I enjoy time with my family, my grandchildren, and Koda, my therapy dog. I’m passionate about community education, supporting grief and trauma recovery, and creating spaces of belonging and hope.
