About My Clients
I help people who are dealing with the day to day struggles of life no matter how big or how small it may seem to them. I also remind people not to put excess pressure on themselves to feel like they must "always have it together". My clients are looking to find and understand the value within themselves, in that we explore past and current relationships as well as helping to understand how their past affects where they are currently.
My Background and Approach
I believe that you are the expert in your own life and and the modalities I use are geared in empowering you as the client. I utilize the psychodynamic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy as well as a person centered approach in my sessions. I have had clients who have experienced a wide spectrum of life events, whether it is childhood/ adult trauma, anxiety, depression, family issues the list goes on and on. With me you will have a support as well as someone who can help you with the tools needed to face all of life's hurdles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that society places a huge stigma on mental health, I want to work with you on breaking down those stigma's and unlearning childhood behaviors that can negatively impact you in adulthood. I can understand first hand how mental health is such a taboo topic and I can help you break down those barriers and process the variety of emotions you experience on a daily basis.
