About My Clients
I treat individuals, siblings, families as well as facilitate groups. Individuals dealing with grief, complex trauma (s), mood and anxiety concerns as well as provided support and empathy. Having over 20 years of experience from community mental health, in home therapy to partial hospitalizations to private practice. Helping individuals heal from childhood trauma, generational trauma utilizing EMDR, Art Therapy among other evidenced based interventions have been part of my clinical practice.
My Background and Approach
EMDR, Art Therapy, Somatic work-utilizing my RYT200. Taking a person centered approach and meeting people where they are currently at with empathy and positive regard, I build a treatment plan with my clients, with guidance, we build a plan together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people can change, with a supportive ear and empathy, it is possible to help foster change for an individual. I provide a space where growth and change can happen, with the desire to do so. Everyone is unique and they are a product of there total experiences to date. Coupled with those experiences of family members that came before them, so meeting them where they are at and guiding them to their destination is something that I believe I can help with.
