Life is hard but with the right therapist, you can heal and move forward in life.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from USC with my Master of Social Work in 2008 and obtained my clinical social worker license (LCSW) in 2012. I recently became certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Provider by Postpartum Support International. I’ve also completed the Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Counseling training and currently preparing for Level 2 training. Being in the mental health field since 2009, My extensive trainings and educational background have equipped me with the necessary tools to work with a variety of client populations who are experiencing numerous emotional distresses. In therapy, my goal is to help my clients seek clarity, find peace and self-compassion in their lives while also working on healing their wounds that may feel too heavy to overcome or carry on their own. As a Latina therapist and first generation Salvadoran-American, I’m most passionate about transforming the lives of individuals who identify as a BIPOC and women of color and breaking generational trauma patterns.
