Accepting Clients

As an immigrant myself, I understand firsthand the strength, resilience, and complexity that come with navigating new cultural landscapes.

Psychologist in Los Angeles, CA

About My Clients

I work with children, teens, young adults, and parents—many from multicultural or immigrant families. My clients may face emotional, behavioral, or acculturation-related challenges. I support those navigating identity, stress, communication issues, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, or mood concerns, using a warm, culturally responsive and collaborative approach.

My Background and Approach

I approach therapy as a collaborative, culturally responsive process grounded in warmth, empathy, and evidence-based strategies. As an immigrant myself, I understand the impact of acculturation, identity development, and systemic barriers on mental health. I integrate DBT, CBT, IPT, and parent-focused interventions to support emotional regulation, communication, and confidence. I also help families navigate school, medical, and community systems, especially when language or cultural differences create added stress. My approach centers social justice, cultural humility, and each family’s unique strengths. I aim to empower children, teens, and parents to feel more connected, supported, and understood so they can move through daily challenges with resilience and hope. I currently work at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), specializing in children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disabilities—including ADHD and ASD—as well as mood and anxiety disorders.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens within the relationship when people feel safe, respected, and fully seen—not only as individuals but within their culture, family, and lived experiences. As an immigrant, I value resilience, community, and the strength that comes from navigating multiple worlds. My work is grounded in social justice, cultural humility, and the belief that every person deserves access to compassionate, inclusive care. I am committed to advocating for families facing systemic barriers and helping them reclaim their voice and confidence. Outside of clinical work, I enjoy exploring multicultural spaces, staying connected to my heritage, and learning from the diverse communities I serve. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel empowered, understood, and supported as they build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
