About My Clients

Kids, teens, and adults who have ADHD, executive function challenges (i.e., time management, organization) who struggle with completing homework/work tasks, get overwhelmed easily, are disorganized, and/or anxious. I help people to be better organized, efficient, and more relaxed.

My Background and Approach

I take a collaborative and solution-focused approach. It is important to be able to talk about issues and process feelings, but it is also critical to develop concrete steps and take action to make the desired changes. During sessions, I help kids and teens view their homework portal, plan out assignments, and get started on them. We also process challenges with focus and fidgeting and how to improve these. For adults, I often assist them in prioritizing and planning out work tasks and balancing everything. I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at The George Washington University. I am very connected to the ADHD community, serving on the National CHADD board as well as am the volunteer chapter coordinator for the Montgomery County, MD chapter. I frequently write articles on ADHD and have had many published in Attention Magazine as well as a few in Washington Parent Magazine. I have also written a few books and was an ADHD topic expert for Goodtherapy.org.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
