About My Clients

The people who find me tend to be intelligent, curious, too hard on themselves, and don't fit into boxes. Many are women who are late-diagnosed with ADHD, autism or another neurodivergent issue, who also struggle with anxiety and executive functioning. Although recently more men in midlife have also been reaching out, neurodivergent as well, but struggling with relationship issues. I also do a lot of couples counseling, where one partner is neurodivergent and the other is 'typical'.

My Background and Approach

I am licensed to practice in the DC metro area (online only) with an eclectic therapeutic approach, so I can personalize our work towards your preferences, orientation, history, culture, and lenses along with the latest evidence-based strategies. I am certified and trained in a variety of modalities. I invite you to peruse my website for details. I have a master's degree in clinical and macro social work and another master's degree in gender and American history. I have been published in academic journals and frequently appear on an array of national podcasts and write for national publications for my expertise. I am a USA TODAY and Amazon bestselling author and multimedia visual artist.
