About My Clients
I support adults who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences. Many navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or major life transitions and are tired of managing it all alone. My clients are insightful and motivated, seeking to understand themselves, regulate emotions, and create lasting change through a compassionate, structured therapeutic approach.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University and specialized training in trauma-informed care. I am trained in EMDR and have advanced training in Recent and Group Traumatic Episode Protocol. My work is grounded in an understanding of how trauma impacts the nervous system, emotions, and relationships. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and structured. I guide clients through three phases of therapy: first, supporting emotional regulation and nervous system stability; second, identifying and processing root causes using EMDR; and third, building resilience through strengths- and values-based work. This framework helps clients feel grounded while creating meaningful, lasting change. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and respected throughout their healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and human. I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion, and I work from the belief that our responses make sense in the context of our experiences. I am deeply committed to trauma-informed care and to helping clients feel empowered rather than “fixed.” I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where clients of all identities feel respected and supported. I believe healing happens when people feel understood, not judged, and when therapy honors both resilience and vulnerability. I also value ongoing learning and self-reflection, as I believe ethical and effective therapy requires continual growth.
