About My Clients
Women carry the weight of so many roles, relationships, and expectations—often at the expense of their own well-being. The pressure to meet these demands can lead to self-doubt, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion, and shapes how you see yourself and how you show up in the world. If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious by these unrealistic standards, are experiencing relationship issues, or dealing with the effects of trauma, this is a space where your voice and emotions are deeply valued.
My Background and Approach
I completed my PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Iowa, and completed my predoctoral internship at the Minneapolis VA. I obtained specialized training in evidence-based therapies for PTSD, perinatal mental health, relationship issues, behavioral health, and eating disorders. I take an emotionally focused and relational approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that our emotions and relationships are at the core of who we are. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, emotions, and connections that shape your life, helping you build deeper understanding, greater resilience, and more fulfilling relationships. You can expect a flexible approach to therapy that adapts to your specific needs, ensuring that you feel both heard and respected.
