About My Clients
Figuring out identity, establishing meaningful relationships, and navigating through changing independent roles while on the quest for financial stability, can be an overwhelming mix of demands. Add spiritual and/or cultural expectations to the blend and you might just feel like quitting before you even start! It’s a wonder why anxiety, depression and other forms of addictive “coping” exist. Need some help addressing these symptoms while managing life’s demands? Say less!
My Background and Approach
Clinically, I've worked with children, teens, young adults, couples and families dealing with anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, divorce, life transitions, grief and disorder management. In our work together, clients have increased their personal awareness of their emotional needs and expectations, families have identified patterns of interaction that are getting in the way of them achieving the connection they desire and couples have learned how to communicate in less threatening and more constructive ways. I especially loves working with emerging adults, though, around issues of identity, establishing healthy boundaries, breaking negative generational cycles and regulating emotions.
