Life can be unpredictable and overwhelming at times. It's not unusual for everyone, at one point or another, to experience up and downs throughout life. Deciding to look into options for counseling is a big step towards taking care of you and building an understanding of mental health concerns and strategies to improve how you feel. I have experience working with clients of all ages with concerns such as: life stress, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, divorce, and relationship conflicts
My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and, during that time, have found my passion in helping individuals find fulfillment in their lives. I tend to come into counseling sessions using person centered therapeutic techniques to provide empathetic understanding and positive regard. I use a professional, open, and non-judgmental approach to provide a safe environment to explore personal concerns and collaborate with individuals to work towards therapeutic goals. Trust is important in the counseling process and I work with you to establish a rapport to allow for personal growth.
