My Background and Approach
Our therapists specialize in pinpointing the specific patterns that are underlying YOUR current anxiety or depressed mood. As a result, we know exactly which tools to recommend based on who you are AND how you got to this point. We'll teach you specific steps for how to get control over the physical aspects of your anxiety and depression as well as how to deal with scary and overly negative thoughts in ways that actually work. Our goal is to give you at LEAST one new tool EVERY session. In the first few sessions, we'll pinpoint simple steps you can take early on, to reduce your symptoms and get to feeling better quickly. Once you're feeling more confident in your ability to handle things, we'll work together to sort through the issues that brought you to this point and build a relapse prevention plan so you can keep your mental health strong and stable, regardless of what life throws at you.
