About My Clients
I’d be honored to help you navigate your unique life transitions while creating space to move toward your personal growth and development. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who are confronted with topics related to trauma, identity, gender, sexuality, interpersonal relationships, multicultural and diversity factors. I am particularly passionate about LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized groups. I believe in advocacy and empowerment within individuals as well as communities.
My Background and Approach
I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. I obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in At-Risk Youth from MSU Denver. I have experience working with underserved populations through various agencies including private practice, non-profit and County Human Services. I interned with People House for one year, where I obtained my clinical hours to meet graduation requirements.I work from a person-centered, relational-cultural perspective which integrates environmental, cultural and social aspects of your life.

Relational Cultural Theory fits me because it allows me to focus on social justice and advocacy while also encouraging meaningful connections in your life. I hope to stand next to you as you navigate your unique life transitions, whether you are seeking to gain a better understanding of your personal journey or are hoping to tackle specific obstacles which may be blocking you from your ideal progression. I believe every person deserves to be treated with respect and dignity and every person should have access to the supports and resources so they can better manage the difficulties that come with navigating familial and social expectations.
