About My Clients
Whether you’re in a season of transition or pain, you want to explore your story more fully, or you’d like to connect more with your inner world, I’d be honored to join with you in a place of connection and transformation. My hope is that all parts of you - the ones you love and know well and those that you struggle with or push away in your daily life - can feel welcome, seen, appreciated, and understood.
My Background and Approach
I use an integrated and holistic approach of evidence-based therapeutic models including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness to help my clients find healing and connection with others and within themselves. My desire is for my clients to wade through their overwhelming thoughts and emotions to find strength, compassion, and curiosity within themselves. I primarily work with adolescent girls and adult individuals. I also work with low-conflict couples who want to enhance or strengthen their relationships. Some areas of clinical focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief/loss, sexual abuse, self esteem, codependency, and relationship distress. I graduated with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University with a specialization in client-centered play therapy and expressive arts, and I seek to help my clients bring their experience into the room in a new way.
