I experience chronic pain and migraines and working with clients experiencing chronic pain or illness is close to my heart. I think it's important to accurately factor in how chronic pain or illness impacts so many aspects of life like our relationships, jobs, financial stability, our bodies, our mood, and our hope for the future. I will bring this knowledge and expertise into our therapy sessions so that I am getting a full picture of best how to help you with whatever your challenges are.

I am passionate about working with clients who struggle with voicing their opinion and feeling worthy. I have experience and training working with individuals, couples, and families around the topic of personal growth and healthy relationships. I take the time to see how your perspective informs your relationships and I help you to figure out and take action on how you want to live your life.

Kinky people need therapists too! I think kinky people deserve to have a therapist that understands them and isn't afraid to talk about sex, especially in relationship counseling. I am trained in topics of trauma focused therapy, mindfulness and sex, telesextherapy, the intersection of sex and spirituality, ethical porn, non-monogamy, and in sex therapy.

I am a trained Marriage and Family Therapist and in my master's program and internships half of my clients were there for couples, relational, family, premarital, or marital counseling. I was trained holistically to always include context and relationships in my work with all my clients and to see the whole picture.

As an experiential therapist I am trained to help clients increase their self-esteem, identify and explore their emotions, and explore what they yearn for in life. I am a collaborative therapist and I expect my clients to work with me to decide their goals for therapy and to give me feedback if something I suggest isn't working for them.

I am a feminist and I used to run a Seattle Feminist Book club for a couple of years before deciding to become a therapist. Feminism was my gateway into realizing and acknowledging my own privilege as a white, cis-woman. I think as a therapist, it's important to acknowledge the damage done by the larger healthcare system by discussing the impacts of oppression, medical gaslighting and trauma, white supremacy, capitalism, and the pandemic on the lives of my clients.

I am a relationship anarchist and I enjoy working with poly folks or anyone that falls under the polyamory umbrella. Being trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist I think it's important to bring relational counseling to everyone that's in relationships and not just married people or people in monogamous relationships. Even when I work with individuals we are often still talking about the relationships in their lives and how they impact them.
