About My Clients
I see all ages from play therapy for children to life transitions and seasons of life. I use a humanistic approach to life's challenges incorporating assessment and cognitive behavioral therapy along with psychodynamic components. I offer individual, group, couples and family counseling.
My Background and Approach
I received my Masters of Science in clinical psychology in 2019 from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I completed my practicum at the Texas A&M University-Commerce psychology clinic and interned at Terrell State Hospital, where I enjoyed working in the child, adult, and forensic units. I'm trained in areas of psychotherapy such as psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I enjoy working with children as I've completed two semesters of research as a graduate assistant focusing primarily on children under the age of 10. My previous experience working with children in the Rockwall Independent School district, among other districts, acts as a foundational and multi-perspective aspect to my work. I also enjoy working with adolescents and adults, in both individual and group settings along with offering support for those who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. I have four children that keep me busy outside the office!
