I use Cognitive therapy along with exposure therapy. These behavioral therapy helps you safely face both situations and memories that you find frightening so that you can learn to cope with them effectively. Exposure therapy can be particularly helpful for flashbacks & nightmares. I aim to assure the client that they are not to blame, to not avoid talking about trauma for fear of re-traumatizing, to use creative therapy to work through trauma and to measure progress of symptoms.

Some of the issues addressed, include but are not limited to family dynamics, children's problematic behaviors, and parenting skills. We help families create a structure of rules and consequences for children or adolescents. Also, interventions can be centered around improving the interactions and communication among family members.
