About My Clients
I help clients alleviate their suffering and create new meaning for themselves that comes from a place of inner strength. I work with adolescents and adults both in-person and virtually. My clinical focuses include depression and mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, identity development, life transitions, and working with expats and foreign nationals.
My Background and Approach
I have a Bachelor degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol, UK and hold Master degrees in Social Work and Non-Profit Management from the University of Pennsylvania. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also pull from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT). My work is further informed by my personal experience living across Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America. Navigating diverse cultural landscapes has deepened my appreciation for the profound influence of culture in shaping identity, values, and perspectives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that feeling accepted and cared for are the catalysts to change.
