About My Clients
I work with adults across Idaho who don’t fit society’s “boxes,” including queer, trans, BIPOC, disabled, neurodivergent, and polyamorous folks. Many of my clients are navigating complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation or DID, BPD, religious trauma, addiction, or large shifts in identity. Many of the clients who come to me are tired of having to explain themselves to every new provider, while navigating the weight of systems (including healthcare) that were never built for them.
My Background and Approach
I offer telehealth sessions to clients anywhere in Idaho, from Boise to Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, and Pocatello. I use DBT skills to help with intense emotions and relationships, ACT to help you live by your values, and somatic approaches to help you feel at home in your body in the present moment. Sessions are collaborative and my core goal is to guide you toward radical autonomy and empowerment, while you navigate systems that often times might work against you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer, neurodivergent therapist partnered with a genderqueer plural human, I know firsthand how exhausting it is to survive in a world not built for us. Distress is often a reasonable response to oppression, trauma, and being made to feel like "too much". I believe in radical autonomy and living compassion. That means respecting your identity, your relationships, your body, your beliefs or lack of them, and your right to define what healing looks like for you. It also means being honest with you, naming systemic harm when it shows up, and continuing to examine my own biases.
