About My Clients
My foundation with clients is person centered. By including empathy and validation in the therapeutic process, it allows the client to have a voice and be heard without judgement. I uses evidenced based theoretical orientations and work collaboratively with clients to develop their individualized treatment goals. I also believe in educating clients to allow them to become experts in their mental well-being as well as access resources in the community to include in their support systems.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master of Arts Degree in Community Counseling from Regent University and am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have worked in a variety of settings including substance abuse, domestic violence programs, and home based counseling. I am also a firm believer in giving back to your community.
