About My Clients
If you’re feeling affected by anxiety or overwhelm, depression, life transitions, or relationship stress, you are not alone! I work with children, teens, adults, and couples who are navigating all of these experiences including ADHD symptoms, identity exploration, self-esteem concerns, and attachment wounds. Through a collaborative approach, I help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and body.
My Background and Approach
As an ALC supervised by Misty Robertson Smith, LPS-S, I operate from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach (ACT) through a compassionate and multicultural lens integrating play therapy techniques with children and adolescents, and insight-oriented, somatic, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches with adults and couples. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah majoring in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation in 2017. I hold an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University (2025). I have over 13 years of experience in the mental health field working in eating disorder recovery for adults and teens, neuropsychiatric healthcare, disability organizations, therapeutic recreation, clinical mental health and behavioral health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I offer affirming care for LGBTQIA+ folks and all identities providing a nonjudgemental and authentic environment for those seeking a safe space to process past experiences, navigate oppressive systems, and explore individualized ways to cope with life's changes. I see both individuals and couples, and I invite you to reach out for support!
