About My Clients

Most people I work with are accomplished in their careers, yet feel deeply unsatisfied in their personal lives or relationships. They've often been carrying things on their own for a long time. Maybe they're dealing with loss, relationship struggles, or an overwhelming pressure to perform. Others simply know something feels off, even if they can't quite put it into words. Wherever you're starting from, you don't have to have it all figured out. We can make sense of it when the time is right.

My Background and Approach

I've always been fascinated by people. Before becoming a therapist, I studied engineering because I liked solving problems. Somewhere along the way, I realized I was much more interested in understanding the people behind those problems than the problems themselves. That curiosity eventually led me here. When we work together, you can expect me to be honest and genuinely curious about your experience. I'm not the kind of therapist who sits quietly and nods for an hour. I'll ask questions, point out patterns you may not have noticed, and challenge you when I think it'll help. At the same time, I'll make sure you feel supported enough to explore the parts of yourself you've learned to keep hidden. I use a blend of conversation, body awareness, and experiential work because I believe meaningful change happens when we don't just understand ourselves differently—we begin experiencing ourselves differently, too.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I don't believe people are meant to carry everything alone. As a society, I think we've gotten really good at pushing through, staying busy, and convincing ourselves we're fine. Sometimes that works for a while. Eventually, though, life has a way of asking us to pay attention to the things we've been avoiding. I don't think therapy is about fixing people. In my opinion, therapy is simply a space for growth and change. It's about fostering the strength to engage in honesty—with yourself, with someone else, and with the life you're living. From there, change tends to happen naturally. My hope is that when you leave my office for the last time, you don't just feel better—you understand yourself better. You trust yourself more. And you feel a little more connected to the life you're living.
