About My Clients
I specialize in treating individuals who work in the helping professions such as the mental health, education and medical fields. I am also certified in perinatal mental health and treat women- identifying individuals around relationship, pregnancy and parenting concerns, as well as prenatal and postpartum mental health challenges. Many of my clients are seeking support around both substance use and depression, anxiety, and trauma which I address from a holistic perspective.
My Background and Approach
My clients are welcomed to therapy with kindness, as seeking help is often the result of distress or difficult situations. Using a client-centered, humanistic, social-justice informed and strengths-based perspective, we collaborate towards personalized goals. I also believe in bringing a healthy dose of realism and humor to my work as a therapist.
