About My Clients
Life & relationships can be complex! I have a passion for helping those who wish to 'hang on' to what is working in their relationships while developing new skills to successfully maneuver through the challenges life can present. I provide a non-judgmental atmosphere where my clients can address current concerns, such as; communication, intimacy, conflict, divorce, blended families, and grief & loss.
My Background and Approach
I am Level 3 trained in Gottman Couple Therapy, and have completed additional training for treating complex couples. I also practice EFT Couple Therapy Methods. As a past faculty associate member at Arizona State University I have instructed undergraduate in Family & Human Development courses. I have presented on premarital preparation, couples therapy, social media, parenting, grief & loss.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe as humans we are, at our cores, more alike than we are different. I also respect that each individual is traveling on their own human experience, influenced by past relationships, and experiences, current situations, and their views of what their future may bring. I also feel strongly that it is as healthy to engage in therapy as it is to go to a gym, or seek health treatment for our physical bodies. Mental health, and what happens in our homes, workplaces and relational invironments mattars...a whole lot!
