About My Clients
My clients are people across the lifespan who have sought therapy to help them get unstuck and build a life with more balance and peace. I work best with clients who are willing to get curious and be patient with themselves as we navigate their internal world of thoughts, emotion, and body sensations. No matter who you are or how you identify, I will embrace your authentic self and meet you where you are, using your unique insight and interests to guide the therapy process.
My Background and Approach
I aim to provide a light on the path to healing and growth as we work together to establish safety, build awareness, process past experiences, and form new ways of coping. I bring an open, creative, and relational style to therapy, using a holistic approach that integrates mindfulness, neurobiology, and attachment with trauma-focused and evidence based therapies. Therapy with me will feel like an ongoing exploration of self leading to greater capacity to handle life's difficult experiences and painful memories.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am drawn to help people explore their emotional worlds and build skills to navigate them. I believe what is needed to heal and grow already exists within each of us. Therapy is a way to unlock that inner knowing and free the parts that are working so hard to protect us but ultimately getting in our way. While we are wired for fear and stress, we are also wired to grow and thrive given the right tools and support.
