I understand that addiction is not a moral failure, but a powerful pattern that can take hold of a person’s life, relationships, and sense of self. Whether the struggle is with pornography or sexual behaviors, alcohol or substances, or digital and gaming overuse, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk honestly about what’s been happening. Treatment focuses on understanding the cycle of addiction, identifying triggers, building healthier coping skills, and creating relapse prevention plans

I take a holistic approach because healing rarely happens in just one area of life. I look at the whole person—mind, body, relationships, faith, culture, and environment—to understand what is really driving the struggle and what will best support lasting change. Therapy may include cognitive and emotional skills, lifestyle supports such as sleep and stress management, relationship strengthening, attention to purpose and values and, when desired, integrate Christian faith.

I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. When people feel anxious, depressed, or stuck in unhealthy patterns, it is often because automatic thoughts and beliefs are working in the background. Clients also learn specific coping tools and behavior strategies they can use in daily life. This approach is structured, goal-focused, and highly effective for issues such as anxiety, depression, addictions, and stress, combined with faith as desired.

I approach addiction with compassion and clarity, not judgment. I help clients understand the underlying emotions, stressors, and thought patterns that are driving the addictive cycle, while also teaching practical tools to manage cravings, avoid triggers, and rebuild healthy routines. Treatment may include relapse-prevention planning, accountability supports, and repairing trust in important relationships. When desired, I also integrate Christian faith as a source of lasting strength and hope.
